 Residents live in “kaccha,” or temporary houses built of mud or adobe with thatched or terracotta roofs. When the word “village” first comes to mind, we imagine a lush green field and an unpolluted environment, and this is the exact scenario in Indian villages. 

The infrastructure in the villages is not that good.  There may only be one or two schools and hospitals in an entire village. For this reason, Life in a Village Of India the literacy rate in rural areas is also significantly lower.

There was a  village custom, men went to work in the fields, and women stayed at home to take care of the housework so that in the evening men would come home from work to have a good meal. 

Many people in the village have a typical mentality that they do not need to send their daughters to school because they think that girls just need to learn how to take care of the housework and take care of the family.

Fortunately, however, people’s minds are now changing as literacy rates in villages are increasing day by day, which shows that people no longer consider girls’ schooling as taboo. 

The main job of most of the villagers is doing agriculture and working in fields.  Agriculture is a huge part of our economy and due to our farmers, we are all well fed. 

To produce such a large amount of food, our farmers work continuously in all seasons. They grow different crops every year and a group of Life in a Village Of India people live in villages. It needs a lot of work and care to produce food. They faced the cold winter and hot summer.  

Most of the handcraft labor people are from villages such as farmers, other works as potters, carpenters, blacksmiths, etc. The Bulls are used for farming and other activity in the field and, are also considered as their sacred god since they are the ones who help in ploughing the field, cultivating crops, and earning money for them.

But it’s the determination and spirit of the hard-working villagers that is truly inspiring. Despite all these hardships, they follow the path of honesty and lead simple and virtuous lives. They have great respect for the environment and the traditions of our country.

The arts are celebrated in the form of dance, song, drama, etc. In fact, some of our most famous dances and songs come from these traditions practiced in different villages of India. Our villages may not have modern infrastructure, but here we can find the true spirit of India.

The one most relaxing thing about villages is that they are free from the heavy traffic of city life. Villages are found to be more peaceful, calm, quiet, and full of greenery, where one can always breathe fresh air and stay healthy without any pollution problems.
