Missile fragments discovered in the Kyiv region, one of them with a 400 kg payload

Kyiv Oblast police officers discovered fragments of the two missiles which were shot down by the Air Defence of Ukraine during the Russian attack on 22 October.

Details: Police officers found fragments of a cruise missile belonging to the occupiers with a 400 kg military payload in one of the areas of Kyiv Oblast.

 
No casualties or infrastructure damage were reported. An anti-aircraft defence system shot down the missile over a forest area and a field.

The press-service for the Kyiv Oblast Police specified that the missile was only partly destroyed; the explosive charge will be destroyed separately at the scene.

Niebytov reported that law enforcement officers found another downed missile belonging to the occupiers in a field near one of the populated areas of the Kyiv region.

The length of its body is over seven metres; the wingspan is more than four metres.
