No Covid-19 deaths were reported in 18 consecutive days in Bangladesh, while 23 new cases were recorded in 24 hours till 8am today.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,127 and the mortality rate is 1.49 percent, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of cases rose to 19,52,799, added the release.
The current positivity rate is 0.41 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.94 percent, said the press release.
A total of 5,599 samples were tested across the country in 24 hours till 8:00am today.
At least 263 patients recovered from Covid-19 during this time. The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,97,526 and the recovery rate at 97.17 percent, added the release.
