When and how did you start?

1^st January 2018, we have launched a beta version of spanmylife.com with 100+ daily life management tools, planners and trackers for people, professional and business.

The concept of daily life management is very wide and rich. We together identified around 250+ small and medium components in people the day to day life that people worries about, forget about and fails to fulfill. If we think of any day that we spent in our life, we will see that we manage many things in career and profession. We achieve many goals outside our home by proper plan and execution. But same planning and management in our own lives are missing. It brings irritation, stress, and failures.

It has been around 3 weeks and we have got a positive response and much feedback from different users. We got around 8 k+ unique visitors in initial 3 weeks of time as per CloudFlare analytics data.CloudFlare is our web security provider to make platform highly secure. We did a good amount of security measure and scalability.

We believe that product/company should be scalable before they start to scale. We took strong technology measure on our platform/website development.

How did you come up with the idea? Your inspiration moment

June 2015, my husband registered a Pvt Ltd company eSpanningLife Technologies and started developing an e-commerce platform where people can bid for a quality product. He took one fresher and started building MVP after his office hours. Within 2 months, some family and the financial problem started for us. He is not able to continue. I and my sister were able to feel his pain during 2015 end to 2016 end. The same pain which he has gone through in 2006 middle when he himself killed his startup to fulfill family expectation and needs. In November 2016 he told me about the problem that people face day to day in their life. He told me about how a proper daily life management platform can help our society. One platform can resolve many problems surrounding us.

So many management problems are there in our day to day life and we spanmylife.com team are working to solve as max we can ” Says Deya Acharya

Brief about organization and founding members

The journey of spanmylife.com started 1 year back in December 2016 when Keya Adhikary, a tech-minded girl decided to join hands with her sister Deya Acharya (It’s me), a housewife, to build SpanMyLife from Idea to a web platform.

Soon after they started HiranmayChatterjee joined them as a UI/UX specialist to make SpanMyLife look and feel as per market standard. They started working hard with a strong guidance of few seniorinfluencers.

” The wheel started rolling and days are started going away. Soon after they started building this platform, they noticed and understood that they need few more people in the team to build such wide and rich platform. When we started looking for other team member and were struggling to find right mindset, on a sudden day we got connected to Sudipto and Samiran from friend’s referral.Both are Btech by education and technology-minded people. Sudipto has a great presentation attitude and Samiran is best to identify the flaw in the product. Both of them had their own life and career struggle. They listen and spend little time to understand the idea and finally decided to join our team ” Says Deya Acharya

We are 6 members team now and requesting passionate and entrepreneur-minded people to join our core team. We are inviting both Tech and Sales/Marketing people who can dive our initiative. Who can grow with us as time goes?

The detailed journey, like what all you want to share with readers.

Few questions are really important. Do we really plan for our future? Can we remember most of the thing timely? Do we create proper financial or health plan? Do we women track our women’s health problem or even family health history? How many times are you able to care about friends and family emotion? Question are many more. Most of us do not have the proper answer. If you think about your day at the day end when you are getting ready for sleep, you will find the answer as ‘NO’.

” Think of it with a peaceful mind. Sorry, can you really think of it peacefully where you are surrounded by lots of jobs to do, not only outside but at home and society? We realized it from the heart, from our experience of life. We wanted to build a solution for people to manage their life efficiently and effectively to simplify it. As a team, we are driving to fulfill this dream to fix many problems in people the day to day life management ” Says Deya Acharya

Having fun is important and doing something serious on a day to day planning and management will bring you more fun in your life. SpanMyLife will help you to make your life stress free, balanced and more fulfilled. Manage yourself with proper plan and action. Also, teach your kids to be organized. They will be more successful in their life. It’s important to be organized.

About funding, plans for growth

In near future, we need to look for Seed funding to grow our development and marketing team. We launched all over India as this platform suites to the whole country from day one. To support our strategy and plan, we need to have seed fund by current year 3^rd quarter.

We need to grow and scale our platform fast.Premium feature and services will be getting added in our website from March 2018 for the paid user. We have big vision on the business side for 3 way solution like SpanAd, SpanOffer, and SpanBiz. We have started prototyping this solution and will bring an MVP one by one by during 2018.

We are planning for good no’s of partnership with other company and provide their offerings in our platform to help spanmylife.com user day to day needs in near future.

Challenges and Opportunities/ Marketing Strategies

The biggest challenge for us is to make people in India, habituated to organize their day to day life more efficiently and effectively. People in India are very reluctant to spend time on proper planning and execution of their own needs and fulfillment.

Trust is another factor for getting used to with this kind of platform initially.Being a new platform and little software oriented website giving us the challenge to adapt people to it.

Having fun and doing something serious on a day to day life is different and it will win people heart when they understand the needs and get habituated with it. We have to make each user understand that how it will help them to make their life stress free, balanced and more fulfilled.

” Many research and study say that we Indian are less organized and do very fewer plans. Recently many studies show we as a parent cannot teach our kids a financial planning. How we can teach our kids until we get our self-planning oriented ”

We have taken initial feedback from friends/family. We focused more on friends/family for first 3 weeks and got 8k+ unique visitor. Our next focus a full online marketing and physical marketing for next few months to get most users habituated with our platform. From March we start focused marketing on premium service, professional and business. We are planning for good no’s of partnership with other company and their offerings in our platform to help span my life user.

Future plans and funding

We are working on user/customer feedback to improve more. By next 3 month, we will bring App for user and beta version of business solution like SpanAd, SpanOffer. We are bootstrapping now and will continue for next few months.

We will provide an intermediate solution for App to open our website from mobile. We have started working on standard App building and in an iterative mode, we will bring it to the user. Premium feature and services will be getting added to our website from March 2018 for the paid user.

We have big vision on the business side for 3 way solution like SpanAd, SpanOffer, and SpanBiz. We have started prototyping these solutions and will bring an MVP by July 2018.

EXCLUSIVE: Founder’s advice to budding entrepreneurs

Never waste too much time to find right people rather build skill on people who ever you have on your team. They will drive for you. Time will teach you everything you need to drive.Just be persistent. Go for lean and go for agile. Take customer feedback seriously but don’t be blind. Remember you cannot do magic and offer everything from day one.

Provide some statistics like revenues or clients acquisition etc

We have launched 1^st Jan 2018 and got around 8 k+ unique visitors in first 3 weeks time. Got much feedback for improvement and we are continuously working on user feedback. We have 4 revenue channels in our business model. Soon in future, we lunch our beta version of SpanAd and SpanOffer. We will improve our user service by providing premium service in near future oatsab.
