Police have recovered the decapitated bodies of a mother and two daughters at Ghior in Manikganj. Police initially believe that the victim’s husband committed the murder with a sharp weapon at some point in the early hours of Sunday (May 6).
The deceased were identified as Lovely, 35, wife of Asaduzzaman Rubel, dentist of Baliakhora village of the upazila, Chhoya, 18, and Kotha, 12, younger daughter. The eldest daughter was in the tenth grade of a local school and the youngest daughter was in the fifth grade.

Ghior police officer in charge (OC) confirmed the matter. Riaz Uddin Ahmed Biplob told Dhaka Post that the decapitated bodies of his wife and two daughters were recovered from the house of Asaduzzaman Rubel, a dentist at Angarpara village in Baliakhora union of the upazila. It is initially thought that dentist Asaduzzaman Rubel himself killed his wife and two daughters with a sharp weapon. He has been on the run since the incident. Attempts are being made to arrest him.
