Pakistan’s new Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Imran Khan is not only conspiring in politics, he is also conspiring against Pakistan.
According to Geo TV, he has vowed to take legal action against PTI chairman Imran Khan for making “anti-state” remarks at a rally in Abbottabad, Pakistan on Sunday.
The report further said that Shahbaz termed Imran Khan’s statement as a ‘conspiracy against Pakistan’.
In a statement on the official Twitter account of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the Pakistani prime minister said those who were plotting against the national body were the real “Mir Zafar and Mir Sadiq.”
Referring to Imran Khan’s speech at a rally in Abbottabad, Shahbaz Sharif said legal action would be taken against the PTI chairman (Imran) for challenging Pakistan’s state, constitution and national institutions.
In the statement, the Prime Minister further said that Imran Khan is not only conspiring in politics, he is also conspiring against Pakistan. Pakistan cannot be sacrificed on the basis of one person’s arrogance and lies.
Shahbaz said Imran Khan had initially conspired to sink Pakistan’s economy and was now trying to start a civil war. But the government will resist all Imran’s conspiracies.
After many dramas, Shahbaz Sharif was recently elected the new Prime Minister of Pakistan, replacing Imran Khan. Political analysts in the country say that even if a government is formed, the new prime minister will have to face a huge challenge in running the country.
