Sukhasana Or Easy Pose-

An asana which is the root or base of yoga the easiest asana to do and the most relaxing one. This asana will not help you physically to develop your body or to make it flexible but will help you recover your mental peace. This asana calms your body and mind and helps you feel more relaxed and at ease. Anxiety and stress are common friends today and friends who come into life at a very early age. Thus this asana will help you cure most of your problems. In any 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, this is one of the first asanas that one will get to learn. 

To do this asana all you need to do is grab your yoga mat and sit straight with folded legs. The legs should be tucked strongly under the opposite thighs and hands on the thighs relaxed with eyes closed and spine straight. Do it early in the morning each day for 10 minutes to get the best results.

Naukasana Or Boat Pose-

This again is another easy and good asana poses that one can do to keep their lower body in a good position. A great asana to practice for women who have issues like PCOD or PCOS. This asana will also help in reducing belly fat and helps in the process of digestion. This asana will help one directly to improve the spinal area as well.  The abdominal muscles will have their workout and this is a perfect asana to work on this area.

 To do this asana take your yoga mat and keep your legs and hands together and lie down. Then bring your legs together rise with the body making a 30-degree angle and try touching your feet with your hands. Hold this pose for 30 seconds and do it five times daily to get desired results.

Bridge – Bandha Sarvangasana-

A asana that helps one in getting the proper shape of the body and enhances the body in so many ways. This pose will bring flexibility to your body and also improve the spinal areas.  This asana opens the chest which reduces any sort of breathing error and thus is helpful. Needless to say works on belly fat and works on the thyroid as well. If the pose is practiced for 5 minutes also this will help one in so many ways. 

 All you need to do is first lie down straight on your yoga mat followed by entirely lifting your body giving pressure on your hands and feet. The posture should be a full “U” shape. Hold this pose for as much time as possible and continue doing it for a total of 5 minutes to get the best results.

Downward Dog – Adho Mukha Svanasana-

This posture is so helpful in making the entire body strong and strengthening it. This will stretch all your hand and leg muscles making them flexible.  This is in general a very relaxing asana to practice and calms the body down. The best results of this asana will be achieved if it is practiced in a calm environment, especially in the morning.

To do this asana you first need to stand straight. Then slowly bend down touching the feet, followed by extending both legs at the back. The posture should be “V”. try and hold the pose for as much time as possible to get the best results.
