Veer Kunwar Singh bravely fought against the British Army with the help of his army. He drove away the British army and brought down Union Jack from Jagdishpur Fort and hoisted his flag.
He then returned to his palace on 23 April 1858 and soon died on 26 April 1858. This was his last battle fought with the British army.
