You, my friend behind the camera, are about to learn how to use a “exchange of reviews” to get free Google reviews for my business. So, I’ll explain how this works. In a few minutes, I’ll show you what I mean, but first, let me tell you why I love reviews. I love reviews because when people see good ones, they want to buy from you. People trust reviews and like your use, so they’re basically just telling you to take my money and do the service for me. People see these stars and like the way they look, so they think you’re the best and click on your business because it looks good.
If you have a lot of good reviews, okay, so again, we want customers to call us, but when they do, we want them to be ready to trust us and give us our money right away, so we don’t have to do any selling. When you have a lot of reviews, you do less selling and just do quick business transactions because people already trust you from the reviews they read online.
Then let’s get started! How do you get people to review your Google business? You can get reviews in four ways. We’ll start with
You can ask people who have already bought from you for reviews. This can be done with the help of programs. You can call them and ask, or you can send them an email and ask for reviews. Google’s rules say that you can’t explicitly ask for reviews, which means you can’t offer things in exchange for reviews. But that’s just Google’s rules. What you do is up to you.

The second option is to get a bunch of Google accounts. To do this, use a VPN to make the accounts and figure out how to leave a review on your main Google account. The key here is to realize that the biggest challenge with reviews in 2019, 2020, and 2021 is likely to be review stickability, or how Google and Yelp figure out how many of the initial reviews that are left on your listing stay there after a few days, a month, and a few months, and as time goes on and these platforms, especially Yelp, get better at figuring it out? If they can hide a lot of reviews, who are the people who actually leave them? That means, for you, that if a competitor has ten reviews and you want to get 12 reviews, you’ll have to work harder. In the past, you could get by with only 12 reviews, which is a shame.
Today, you need about 20 reviews to be sure that 12 of them will stick. This means that some of the reviews will be thrown out. But if you want 12, you have to get 20, so we are looking at at least 12 rights that are guaranteed. Because Google and Yelp use algorithms to filter reviews, you need to get more than you thought you would. This is getting harder and harder to do. But again, if you want to use the free method, you have to be ready to put in the work. When you buy something, there’s a guarantee, which means that if they don’t do what they said they would or if their review gets filtered within a week or two, you can get another review for free because you already paid for those reviews. Now, that will be groups on Facebook and eBay.

So, let’s hop into my computer, and I’ll show you exactly what I’m talking about. Okay, so once we’re inside the computer, the first choice will be Facebook. Once you’re logged into Facebook, just type “review exchange” into the search bar at the top.
Okay, there are many things now: Review networks and review exchanges are easy to figure out, but for now, just type “review exchange” into a search engine and you’ll see that there are many different kinds of groups. Okay, there are different types of pages and groups. I’d join a few of these groups, like Yelp, Google Facebook Pay for Reviews, and others. Some of these groups cost money, but others are free. Okay, but join the groups anyway. Once you’re in, you’ll figure out everything. Alright.
So I want to join this group because of something like this. This is pretty interesting, so go ahead and join. When you do, you’ll be in the group right away, and there will be a lot of people just trying to get money from you. It’ll be a big mess in here, just like on a lot of TV shows. I can’t talk right now, but the first thing you should do is look for a few things in free reviews to make sure they’ll be around for a while. The first thing to look for is whether or not the person reviewing you is from the U.S. or your own country. That will make the reviews much more likely to be used.

In this case, I’m looking at Yelp reviews, as you know. You can search within the group, or you can just say: “Let’s see what happens there. Let’s go to Yelp and Google to trade reviews.” If you want to trade reviews, please send me a personal message. So, in this case, you want to go through all of these people, let’s say Kevin. Let’s do it, okay? Talk Kevin into doing a review exchange with you. This means that you give Kevin a good review of his business and he gives you a good review of yours. Most of the time, it works best if you send Kevin the review text ahead of time. So, once Kevin Kammer confirms that he wants to trade reviews with you, you should send him the review text that you want him to post. This will get rid of the “Oh, great, it was a good experience” reviews, which are called “hyper reviews.” You want reviews that are specific and full of details right now, but Kevin doesn’t know your business or how it works.
So, that’s what you want to say in the review, and you don’t want it to be too long. Write a short review that gives specifics about your business and how you handle customer service. That will get rid of all of these tiny reviews that say “great experience” but don’t say anything else, and Google is getting smarter, just like Yelp. A lot of these reviews are being filtered out because most of them are spam. If someone really likes your company and the service you offer, they’re likely to read and leave a review that is thoughtful, positive, important, and full of details. Okay, so remember that, and once you’re in the group, just DM all of these people and say, “Hey, are you interested in reviewing?”

Okay, once that loads, press “other contacts seller” and write the things that Joey asked you about. He asked you what the name of your business is. He wants to know where you live.
He asked you to send him the text for review. Joe will post your review for him, and then he will send you his text and the name of his business in his city. You will do the same for Joe. Okay, this is a reliable source, which means it’s like a market. So, please, everyone, be nice, and if someone reviews you, review them back. Don’t make this hard for the rest of us, okay? So, these are the best ways I know of so far to get reviews that stick and make your business very profitable in the long run, as well as decreasing.
