Career Starting
After finishing her college life she started working for an Indian media channel in New York but she was not satisfied with her work so she decided to quit and come back to Mumbai and start as a Stand-up comedian for which she lost a good number of weight just to look re-presentable on stage.
Her famous characters are Dr. Mrs. Lutchuke who is a sex therapist and Dolly Khurana who is a Bollywood struggler. She has covered all sensitive topics in a very sarcastic and in a funny way like sanitary pads, breasts etc.
Before gaining fame in year 2000 she was performing Indian stand-up show held in Comedy store in 2009. She believes that humour is the best way to fix gravitas.

In 2016 she got threats from some political parties and some religious groups and lots of hatred from her audience on her social media handles for her AIB knockout Videos which she posted on You-tube..
Personal life
She is one of the best-known faces for the Indian English stand-up comedy scenes in India. In 2009, she was among the top 5 Indians who was featured in an Indians-only stand-up show called Local Heroes which was organised by the U.K based “The Comedy Store.” And now she is a regular stand-up comedian at Canvas Laugh Factory, Comedy Store Mumbai and has performed at venues and humour festivals across the country, clubs in the UK and at Laugh Factory, Los Angeles. Her first solo show ‘Things they wouldn’t let me say’ was on July 2013 at the Canvas Laugh Factory, Mumbai.

In the year 2013, she was invited by the BBC for the 100 Women Conference in London. She is featured in American, South African and in an American documentary known as Stand-Up Planet, which depicts how a stand-up comedian finds their best humour from every corner of the developing world.

News Regarding Her Actions
Recently she was accused in #Metoo movement by Kaneez Surka who says that Aditi Mittal kissed her forcefully on her mouth on the sets of a comedy show two years back. On which on recent Wednesday she issued an unconditional apology to her fellow comic Kaneez Surka for violating her intimate space and she wrote on her twitter handle “intentions were not sexual in nature. I realised that after talking to Kaneez that it was a violation of her space and to this day bothers her very much. For this I am unconditionally sorry.”
Recently she also takes on Tanmay Bhatt by accusing him for playing a victim card by saying that he allegedly ignored or indirectly participated in the verbal harassment conducted for her by her male colleagues.
Upcoming Projects
These days Aditi is busy working on Afro-Brazilian martial arts capoeira three times in a week and reading Raag Darbari by Shrilal Shukla and Manto’s Why I write. She also shares her flat with her mom and a cat. Unlike her real-life she is unabashedly works on her twitter by saying about poitics and women’s issues without any fear.
