Do you want to learn how to advertise on Instagram? Are you searching for a step-by-step Instagram guide? Then We at SK Followers Pro offer you a complete guide for Instagram Ads.

Here, you will learn how to set up an ad on Instagram using the Facebook Business Manager and Power Editor. Since we’ll be using these apps, make sure to have an account on Facebook.

  1. Connect your Facebook to Business Manager

This involves connecting your main Facebook page to the Facebook Business Manager. You’ll have to set it up first and then click on the ‘Get Started’ button at the bottom of the page. Following this, you will have to answer some questions regarding your business. You will need to add your Facebook business page as well and enter your personal details.

If you have to connect your Facebook business page, click on ‘Pages’ from the Business Settings category. After that, click on ‘Add New Page’ and follow the prompts as per the page you want to include.

  1. Connect your Facebook Ads Account to Business Manager

You have to add the Facebook ads you want to use on Business Manager. Under Business Settings, choose ‘Ad Accounts.’ Here, you have the choice to claim your pre-existing account or create a new one.

If you wish to claim your account, go to the Facebook Ads Manager Account Settings and copy your account ID. Click on the ‘Claim an Ad Account for my Business Manager’ option and enter your account ID.

Similarly, go to the Business Settings menu, and choose ‘Instagram Accounts’. Enter your username and password and click ‘Next.’ You will be asked to link your Instagram to the Facebook ads account for advertising on Instagram.

  1. Set up your Ad (using Power Editor)

Go to the Facebook Ads Power Editor to check your eligibility for Instagram ads. Under Business Manager, click on ‘Ad Accounts’ to see the link to Power Editor. If you’re a new user, you will be asked to download certain things such as the information from your Facebook ads account.

Once downloaded, you will receive a notification saying that you can start using Instagram ads. In case you don’t receive the notification, choose the ‘+Create Campaign’ option, where you can view your eligibility for using Instagram ads. Here, you have the option of creating a new ad campaign or using an existing one.

For the ad objective, choose from the given options, i.e., ‘Clicks to Website,’ ‘Mobile App Installs’, or ‘Video Views.’ Following this, you have to choose between creating an ad set or using an existing one. Once you’ve made your choices, click on the ‘Create’ button, and you will be taken to your campaign on Power Editor.

Using Power Editor

You will be redirected to Power Editor once you create your ad campaign. Here, you will have to set your campaign spending limit and find the ad set link. To find the ad set link, click on ‘View Ad Set,’ which is located at the top.

  1. The Ad Set settings will open, where you can enter your daily or lifetime budget for your Instagram ad and set a schedule for its run time. Below the schedule, you can notice an option for ‘Audience.’ This is to help configure your target audience based on the demographics you want.

If you have selected audiences, then click on the down arrow on ‘New Audience’ and choose them. If not, you can click on the Edit Audience button to view the target audience options. The options are quite similar to the ones in Facebook Ads Manager.

  • Choose your ad placement. These will range from Mobile news feed to Instagram. So, click on the ones you wish to showcase your ad in.
  • Optimize your ad campaign. Based on your goals, you can choose to optimize your ads. Here you can choose which will provide you with the best reach along with the price you have to pay for it.
  • Choose between delivery options. You have to choose between Standard or Accelerated delivery.
  1. To configure your ad, click on the Ads icon towards the left. Here, you will have to select your Facebook Page and your Instagram handle. After that, you can continue creating your Instagram ad.

Once you’ve finished, click on the green ‘Upload Changes’ button, and your ad will be uploaded and submitted to Facebook. Now, you will be able to view your latest Instagram ad in your Ads Manager.

  1. Review the Results

The final step involves periodic checking of the results of your ad campaign. The display will show the results, reach, cost, and amount spent. The results help in giving a better insight into your campaign’s success.

That’s a wrap on how to advertise on Instagram. Hopefully, this helps you out if you’re a beginner in advertising.
