Lots of skins and crossovers are coming.

Leaks, speculations, and hype are all coming together for Fortnite’s next season. Chapter 3 Season 3 is almost upon us. If you haven’t finished your battle pass or still have quests left to complete, now is the right time to do it. You won’t have another go at adding Doctor Strange or other skins in the battle pass to your Fortnite account. Chapter 3 Season 3 is looking to be a big one.

The Imagined Order (aka IO) and The Seven looks to have one last showdown. And once that ends, players can expect a bunch of new content. Plenty of Disney-related items will make their way into the Fortnite Item Shop based on leaks, data mines, and other speculations. But only time will tell; luckily, we don’t have much longer to wait.

Let’s dive into what information we know so far and what things might have been leaked.

Fortnite Collision Event Finale

Epic Games has finally revealed the Chapter 3 Season 2 finale. So there is no speculating here. The fight between IO and The Seven will eventually come to a climactic finish. These factions both first appeared way back in Season 4 in 2018. Over the years, the war has gotten bigger and much deadlier.

This finale event will occur in-game on Saturday, June 4, at 4 PM ET. Depending on your timezone, this can be much earlier or much later. Logging in to Fortnite on June 4th will unlock two free cosmetic items for your Fortnite account: a loading screen and music. Nothing major, but it’s better than nothing.

This event looks like it is going to be wild. Only a teaser has been shown, but it seems like a giant mech will be involved.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Start Date?

Again, no date has been revealed, but if we go based on the Collision event and some leaks, Chapter 3, Season 3 will start on June 5th. What time exactly is anyone’s guess. Epic Games usually takes the game offline for a limited time for maintenance after a big event. It can be around 8 to 24 hours that Fortnite will be unplayable.

It is very rare for Epic Games to release the new season the same day as the significant event. But anything can happen; maybe they might switch things up.

What’s Coming In The Battle Pass?

Okay, let me start by saying everything here is based on speculation and leaks. Epic hasn’t even remotely shown what the upcoming battle pass will contain. So with that out the way, let’s jump into what the leaks have shown so far.

The most significant leak so far is Darth Vader and Indiana Jones. Based on photos circulating the internet, Darth Vader is looking to be in the battle pass, and Indiana Jones will be a limited-time event similar to Prowler this season. Honestly, Indiana Jones joining Fortnite is a big toss-up, but Darth Vader makes sense. There are a lot of other Star Wars characters in the game, like Rey, Finn, and Stormtrooper.

Obi-Wan Kenobi was recently added to the Fortnite Item Shop with the show’s release on Disney+. With Darth Vader making an appearance in the show sometime this season, this looks more likely. Indiana Jones still came out of the left field, but he is part of the Disney property. Epic Games and Disney seem to have a good relationship, considering how many Star Wars, Marvel, and other Disney skins are in the game.

Epic Games always put many skins and cosmetics in the Fortnite battle pass that players can add to their Fortnite accounts. Lastly, again, it looks like the robot in the Collision event will become a skin for Fortnite Crew subscribers.

Map Changes?

Are there going to be any map changes? While nothing has been specified yet, every season update has minor differences. Considering the event will probably be a gigantic battle, the battlefield will likely see some changes due to the carnage. There is also a lot of speculation that the remaining snow on the map will also melt, revealing something underneath. The spot where the Daily Bugle is currently located has been changed a lot; we might see that destroyed or something else entirely.

Conclusion

That’s all the information found so far on Fortnite’s Chapter Season 3 update. Epic Games always try to keep things as tight-lipped as possible to surprise gamers with the upcoming content. However, with a game as big as Fortnite, some things will slip through. It is essential to take some of this information with a grain of salt. A lot of leaks turn out to be not true. So far, the only thing announced by Epic is the Fortnite Collision event.
